    To maintain the sanctity of the Gurudwara, we kindly request that all visitors dress modestly. This means clothing that covers your shoulders and knees. Loose-fitting garments are preferred. Head covering is mandatory for both men and women while on the Gurudwara premises. You can bring your own scarf, dupatta, or turban, or you may find coverings available at the entrance.

    There is no strict format for prayer, but visitors traditionally follow these steps: Matha Tekna (Bowing down) before Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji to seek blessings. Offering Ardaas (a humble prayer) for guidance, well-being, or gratitude. Sitting in the Darbar Sahib and listening to Kirtan (spiritual hymns). Accepting Karah Prasad (sacred offering) with both hands. Participating in Langar Seva or other volunteer services if willing.
  • Is there a lost and found service at the Gurdwara?
    Yes, a Lost and Found counter is available at the Gurdwara office for pilgrims who misplace belongings. The primary language used in prayers is Punjabi (Gurmukhi). However, Sevadars and staff members are available to assist visitors in Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, and English, ensuring smooth communication for all pilgrims. Visitors who find lost items can submit them to the office, where they will be safely stored until claimed.
